inability to obtain sufficient sleep, esp. when chronic; difficulty in falling or staying asleep; sleeplessness. This defined my night, tossing and turning, because of something I cannot control. I have never experienced this before, but now I have a greater respect for those who actually suffer from the disorder. I hope this is the end of my experience with insomnia. -AdrianLame.
